# Which Flux controller fetches Git repositories, OCI artifacts and Helm charts for the other controllers?

Flux CD, Easy (Beginner), Architecture. https://k8wiz.com/uquiz/which-flux-controller-fetches-git-repositories-oci-artifacts-and-helm-charts-for-the-other-controllers

- A. kustomize-controller
- B. helm-controller
- C. notification-controller
- D. source-controller

**Answer:** source-controller

**Explanation:** source-controller reconciles GitRepository, OCIRepository, HelmRepository, HelmChart and Bucket objects. It downloads the content, packages it as an artifact and serves it inside the cluster, where kustomize-controller and helm-controller fetch it.
